Hello, and welcome to my page! Here I will to discuss mythology and the ways in which in can be found just about everywhere! Mythology is the root of all stories, and its presence can be felt even in the most unlikely of places.

Above is a picture of my personal favorite mythological figures, Hades and Persephone, whose story is still being told today through adaptions like Beauty and the Beast or A Court of Thorns and Roses. I hope that, through perusing this blog, you might be able to pick out similar instances of recurring themes and archetypes that can be traced back to mythology – and not just Greek mythology, either! This website will be especially focused on the Trickster archetype, which can be found across all cultures.

Over on my About page you can find a little bit of info about me, on my Mythology page I’ll tell you a little bit about the Trickster archetype and the myth that inspired this page, my Blog is where you will find more talk of mythology’s effect on pop culture, specifically in relation to Tricksters and the many, many, forms they take, and finally my Scholarship page is where you can find some of my academic writing related to myths and tricksters.
